Eco Design for the nautical sector

The main purpose of the ENA project, financed by LIFE + programme, is to improve the environmental performance of the Marche Region SMEs. In particular it is essential to integrate systematically and radically, starting from the planning stage, the application of eco-design (Directive 2005\32\EC), the carbon footprint, the environmental management [both with eco-management and life cycle assessment (LCA)] in order to reduce pollution caused by the manufacturing processes. It is also be fundamental employing new available technologies and techniques aimed both at reducing the amount and the dangerousness of the industrial waste and at saving energy for an ecological shipbuilding production.
